Letter writing used to be such an art form, and in the 1800s one of the only means of communication. These postcards are based on a time when people would sit at their desk with a fountain pen, taking their time writing about their adventures to friends and loved ones. Each one is unique in that I create all the graphics from antique photos from my personal collection from the past. They get distressed for an ol' time worn-out look and feel, and put on make-do wooden frames. (Dried flowers not included.)

Note: Back of wood has no stand. It is meant to lean against something or be put onto a frame holder.

A wonderful conversation piece that would look beautiful alongside any antique collection. And what a beautiful gift to give a kindred friend.

Pick from the following:

* COW - There is nothing like sitting back and talking to your cows. (Teal frame)

* FRIENDSHIP - Friendship isn't about who you have known the longest, It's about who came...Stayed by your side, And never left when you needed someone the most. (Cobalt blue frame)

*PEACE - There is peace only found in the country. (Mustard frame)

*GARDEN - God almighty first planted a garden and indeed, it is the purest of human pleasures. (Violet frame)

* BETSY ROSS - Behind every stitch, lies a story, willing to be told. (Colonial blue frame) A tribute to my talented friend, Laura Ingalls Gunn, who always has a sewing needle in hand.

As always, I put all of myself  and much love into every creation. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy making it for you!!
